THE ARTFUL LIFE

I am please to announce that this fall I will be completing my senior internship at The Artful Life, a counseling center and open art studio right in downtown Beverly. As part of my Art Therapy BFA program at Endicott, I will spend the entirety of the fall semester interning at this private practice. I will be working alongside six skilled counselors, including five licensed art therapists. 

This site is unique because it not only offers private counseling, but also engages small groups in creative and therapeutic activities. I have already been able to learn so much about the "behind the scenes" side of this clinical environment-- planning groups, researching different populations, marketing the events. Through case supervisions and staff meetings I have been able to observe and participate as a member of the Artful Life team, and really appreciate working with such like-minded and creative individuals. I look forward to getting involved in more learning, prepping, and facilitaing these different groups as my times continues.
