SUMMER SHOOTS
The summer solstice is almost here, and the season of outdoor photoshoots is upon us! My eye has always been drawn to light: soft sun filtering through morning trees, strong contrasts of a high mid-day sun, the golden glow of the late afternoon, and the sharp silhouettes of dusk. As the days grow longer and the natural light is stretched out longer, we come into my favorite season for outdoor photography! Studio lighting can be beautiful, but there is nothing quite like working with or against the elements to capture the vastness of space and a human being within it.
